Currently, Aragon, LLC is working with Victor Valley College and the High School Districts to develop a Consortium Plan for Assembly Bill 86 (AB86) for Adult Education. This grant report consists of numerous meeting, compiling large amounts of data, working with various personalities, and facilitating plans of action. This all must be placed in a comprehensive, concise 100-page report. The report is written and researched solely by Aragon, LLC. Aragon, LLC, conducts most meeting facilitations. Once the report is finished at the end of February 2015, Aragon, LLC plans to further contract with Victor Valley College (no more than 10 hours a week) to provide consultation on executing the outlined plan of action. Aragon, LLC has written several Federal grants through the Department of Education. The latest grant written by Aragon, LLC scored a near perfect result.

For the past three years, Aragon, LLC has worked with a substance use disorder (SUD) agency in the High Desert named, St. John of God Health Care Services. They provide a continuum of care to clients with SUDs. Aragon, LLC has written numerous and successful grants for this agency. Aragon, LLC solely has brought SJGHCS from an 800,000-dollar budget to over two and a half million dollars in the past three years. Some of the grants include funding from various hospital organizations, such as St. Mary’s Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital Foundation.


 

Nicole Caldwell, MSW/ASW/CATC-i, Principal of Aragon, LLC, has several credentials that assist Aragon, LLC to perform to their optimal level. Mrs. Caldwell graduated from the University of Southern California with a Masters of Social Work (MSW) with an emphasis in Community Organizing, Planning, and Administration (COPA). Mrs. Caldwell obtained her Associate in Clinical Social Work (ASW) through the Board of Behavioral Health. Prior, she obtained two Bachelor's Degrees from the Claremont Colleges in Organizational Studies & Philosophy. Recently, Mrs. Caldwell completed the hours necessary to obtain her Addiction Counselor Certification Board of California (ACCBC) credential. Through California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators (CAADE), Mrs. Caldwell tested to become a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor credential (CATC) level IV, the second highest credential in the field.

For over ten years, Mrs. Caldwell has worked with a multitude of agencies administering and developing grants. She understands the need for accurate data collection, reporting, and adherence to the grant program requirements. Aragon, LLC is thorough in its pursuit to maintain grant integrity as the steps are derived to develop programs. Through her initiative, Aragon LLC has raised nearly eleven and a half million in grant funding and nearly 500,000 dollars in other funding revenues. In addition, Mrs. Caldwell understands the need for measurement and has developed a multitude of trainings to assist agencies to implement evaluation plans through comprehensive data collection. This data collection includes both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
